ACT-based Coaching

For Children, Teens, and Adults

At Jersey Behavior Consulting LLC, we offer neurodiversity-affirming, person-led ACT-based coaching for autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. Whether you're a child, teen, or adult, our coaching is designed to honor your identity, support your autonomy, and help you move toward a life aligned with your values.

We center our approach around Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), a compassionate, evidence-based model that supports psychological flexibility, self-awareness, and growth.

ACT Coaching can help support:

  • Understanding your nervous system and how to work with (not against) it

  • Building communication and advocacy skills in ways that feel authentic

  • Exploring values and making decisions that align with what matters most to you

  • Navigating challenging situations with increased self-awareness and clarity

  • Developing flexibility, resilience, and the ability to sit with discomfort

  • Making space for your full self, including difficult emotions, sensitivities, and strengths

  • Reclaiming agency in environments that may have pushed you to mask or disconnect

What is ACT Coaching?

ACT Coaching is a collaborative, supportive space where you’re invited to come as you are! No need to mask, no need to fit into someone else’s mold. It’s not therapy, and it’s not behavior management. It’s a values-based partnership that helps you notice what's getting in the way, explore what matters to you, and practice moving toward the life you want, even in the presence of hard things.

Whether you’re a child exploring identity and autonomy, a teen navigating social stress or burnout, or an adult working through overwhelm or disconnection, this space is for you.

  • Sessions are offered virtually and in-person (when available) in NJ and PA

  • This service is not ABA and not a substitute for mental health treatment or psychotherapy. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It is not covered or reimbursable by health insurance.

What can I expect from ACT Coaching?

  • Personalized & Strength-Based: Sessions are designed around your interests, your pace, and your needs. We explore your strengths, challenges, and hopes without judgment or pressure to conform.

  • Connection & Trust: Coaching happens through relationship. Our sessions prioritize safety, consent, and mutual respect. We meet you where you are and support you in showing up as your full self.

  • Collaborative & Empowering: You are the expert on your life. We bring tools, but the work is led by your insight and curiosity.

  • Flexible & Responsive: Your needs may shift, and so will our coaching. We adapt together, whether you're in a season of deep reflection, problem-solving, or just needing a safe space to land.
